Confusion Reigns in France

According to CNN, the French foreign minister said, "We are going to work with the new U.S. administration that is formed. We have many things to do, both on the current crises -- in Iraq, the Middle East, Iran, the fate of the African continent -- and to renovate the transatlantic relationship."

Did they go to sleep really early over there in France?

Also, I apparently missed a Ratherism last night. The lovely Tim Goodman reports in today's San Francisco Chronicle: "Don't taunt the alligator until you've crossed the creek." And TV Barn brings us another big barrel of Dan Rather sayings.
