TeeVee.org: Our New Home on the Web
Until last year, we were known as NCITVVH. We admit it, that's not a very catchy name. Fortunately, a confluence of events have allowed us to transform ourselves into the Viewers for Quality TeeVee (VQTV).
First came the demise of Viewers For Quality Television (VQT), a long-standing organization that, like us, was a champion of television. Granted, they were a bit high-and-mighty, and favored certain "quality" shows over others that were perfectly suitable televised entertainment... but generally, we liked them. When they closed up shop, we considered it an honor to follow in their footsteps with a similar-sounding name.
Second, we wanted a domain. VQTV.org is good, but not catchy enough. We liked TeeVee.org, but unfortunately it was taken by a group of bitter, nasty kids who wrote simply awful things about our favorite TV shows.
Fortunately, however, the kids at TeeVee.org don't pay their domain-name-registration bills. We guess they were too busy getting all holier-than-thou about Shasta McNasty again. In any event, they failed to pay their bill, and we were happy to swoop in and take their domain from them. You can find the remnants of their foul-mouthed and ill-tempered empire at Plastic.com. Catch them while you can -- they're not long for this world, if you ask us.
