Journeyman
When mopey San Francisco newspaper reporter Dan Vasser (Kevin McKidd) begins acting strangely and disappearing for hours or days on end, his wife (Gretchen Egoll) and friends stage an intervention. But Dans not on drugs: hes suddenly, inexplicably become unstuck in time. His time jumps seem to serve some unfathomable purpose, and he keeps running into different versions of his late fiancee Livia (Moon Bloodgood). Okay, so, maybe hes got some good reasons to be mopey.
| The Pitch: | It's "Quantum Leap", only instead of Dean Stockwell to guide us through the time travel, we've got the main character's dead wife. |

| Do Not Adjust Your Set: | Forget the Time Travel Paradox -- for me, the most disturbing thing about shows like this are the ever-changing sizes of hairstyles and cell phones. |
| Why It Will Be First To Go: | You know what kind of time-travel shows people have always embraced? Ones that take themselves seriously. Deadly seriously. Emphasis on "deadly." |
| Why It Won't: | Bringing up the rear of the "Chuck"-"Heroes" Parade o' Silly Sci-Fi for the Kids, you figure that the mighty inertia of the geek demographic will keep this show afloat long enough for it to lighten up a little bit. |
| Odds of Failure: | 4-1 |
