Premiering Tonight: "Big Shots"

Big Shots (ABC, 10 PT/ET) is tonight’s only new series premiere. (You may want to read a book instead. Or watch one of the many fine returning series premiering tonight.)

It’s a tough life, being a rich corporate CEO. Just ask Brody (Christopher Titus), who’s whipped by his demanding wife. Or Karl Mixworthy (Joshua Malina), whose mistress is about to reveal that he’s cheating on his wife. Or Jamie Auster (Michael Vartan), who is about to learn a horrible secret about his marriage. Or Duncan Collingswoth (Dylan McDermott), who’s single and loving it until a reporter threatens to ruin him over an indiscretion with a prostitute named Dontrelle. Boy, it’s hard to be rich.

When Christopher Titus is playing the most likable guy on your show, you might have a difficult time generating warm feelings among your audience.

Your TeeVee consensus: This is probably the worst new show of the fall. Unless Moonlight — which premieres tomorrow — is worse. (We haven’t seen it.)
